Eric, Donna, Jackie, Fez and Kelso are back.

“That 90s Show” premiered on Netflix today, with all 10 episodes for  viewers to binge.

The show is both a reboot and a sequel to “That 70s Show” which ran on Fox from 1998-2006. A trailer revealed that most of the original cast would appear on the reboot, with Red and Kitty Forman being main characters on both the original and the reboot.

The reboot just so happens to take place in the 90s,, the time when the original show was actually filmed, despite being set in the 70s.

With nostalgia and legacy characters set to appear, “That 90s Show” has the ingredients to become a success.

The original characters of “That 70s Show” were Eric, Donna, Jackie, Kelso, Hyde, Fez, along with Red and Kitty Forman. The trailer reveals that Eric and Donna’s daughter, Leia Forman, would be visiting her grandparents at Point Place, Wisconsin, where Leia’s parents and their friends had grown up.

Red and Kitty’s return to the reboot as parental figures to Leia, as they were for their own son Eric on the original show. The only character that will not appear on the show is Steven Hyde played by Danny Masterson. Masterson is awaiting a trial for sexual assault allegations.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis play on-again off-again boyfriend and girlfriend Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart.

For fans of celebrity relationships and goals, perhaps one of the main ones would be theirs.

Kutcher and Kunis met on “That 70s Show.” It was revealed that Kunis’ first kiss was on-screen with Kutcher. While Kunis and Kutcher never dated while on the show, their connection with each other and nostalgia with the show may have pushed for the eventual pairing.

A very odd coincidence would be Mila and Ashton starring in different films with very similar plots that were released in 2011.

Kutcher would star along Natalie Portman in “No Strings Attached” released in January 2011, while Kunis would star along Justin Timberlake in “Friends With Benefits” released in July 2011.

Ashton and Mila would appear together in January 2012, after the end of each of their own highly publicized relationships had ended.

The couple had their first child together in 2014, and got married in 2015, and welcomed their second child in 2016.

Kutcher and Kunis are still together to this day, as they return to “That 90s Show” where the romance first blossomed.

“That 90s Show” taking place in the 90s will be nostalgic for people that grew up during that time, while also feeling the nostalgia of seeing the original characters.

With themes and jokes of the 70s now being updated for the 90s, the reboot should have many pop culture jokes for that time.

Fans seem to always have mixed emotions when their favorite show is being brought back. A bad entity upsets fans, and argues it tarnishes the original legacy of the show.

With “That 90s show” having the original cast appear, the same setting, while being a different time period, the reboot is could have the same success.
