SOC Writer

Job type: Internship or Part-time

Average hours: 20 per week

Responsibilities:

• Write at least two articles (or listicles) per month, based on a pitch that’s been approved by editors.
• Have an interest in Hudson County food, lifestyle, and/or diversity or looking at different cultures, in general.
• Ability to write up any relevant breaking news.
• No experience required! Will provide training if needed.

SOC Photographer

Job type: Internship or Part-time

Average hours: 20 per week

Responsibilities:

• Ability to do assignments given by editors.
• Communicating with writers to see what photos they need.
• Submit photos to appropriate persons.
• Managing photographer sessions.
• Experience required.

SOC Graphic Designer

Job type: Internship or Part-time

Average hours: 20 per week

Responsibilities:

• Ability to do assignments individually and given by editors.
• Creating stand alone visual concepts and also for writers when needed.
• Collaborate with photographers and/or writers when needed.
• Create creative content utilizing Photoshop, Canva, or other creative tools.
• Experience required.
