Cuba Libre

On July 13, hundreds of New Jersey residents gathered on the corner of 79th st. and Bergenline in North Bergen to start a historic march for Cuban liberation. 

The march ended on 60th st. in West New York where several people spoke in front of the crowd marching for reform in Cuba.

For years, Cubans have made up a larger number of the population in North Bergen, West New York and Union City.  

They filled the streets with signs and chants such as “libertad!”
