Celebrate The World Cup Culture With Hudson County Neighbors!
All across New Jersey, pockets of the state will be hosting viewing parties for the people to enjoy—even right here in Hudson County.
On June 12, Jersey City will host a “Flag City” event, presented by Goya, on Columbus Drive which will feature a live match broadcast, international cuisine, local food vendors and live entertainment.
From the Jersey City Office of Cultural Affairs, the city will be hosting three events kicking off with their Welcome to the World event on Sunday, June 21. The event will take place at Bergen Square from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. with a multicultural community event that will showcase local businesses along with middle eastern culture, centering around the Egypt versus New Zealand match.

Next up will be on Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11, which will be the World on Central event, hosted on Central Avenue in partnership with the Central Avenue Special Improvement District (CASID). The two-day event will help promote local businesses and show off the diverse cultures that surround Jersey City and Hudson County.
Then on Sunday July 19, the festivities will move to West Side’s Claremont Avenue for the Around the World Watch Party, broadcasting the World Cup Final and transforming the avenue with cultural zones representing different regions.
In addition to these three events, Sports Illustrated Arena in Harrison will be hosting watch parties with multiple performances from Saturday, June 13 until July 15 with all tickets being free besides Monday, June 22 where Kygo and Kaleo will be performing.
