Slice of Culture visited several parks throughout Jersey City, which some residents have voiced concerns related to maintenance, upkeep and simple follow-through from city officials which have been at the forefront of residents’ feedback when it comes to spotlighting the “forgotten parks.”

This Saturday, an event addressing the Liberty State Park revitalization proposals will take place at Liberty Science Center.

While the project is already underway with a $50 million budget, many people on opposing sides have been chiming in on what the new Liberty State Park should look like and offer.
