In New Jersey, there’s at least two statewide conventions that give a space for this community: the annual Rock & Roll Steampunk Fair and Steampunk Alchemy Fest 2024.
“When we opened Paloma, that was one of our focuses, ‘Ok, how can we do stuff differently for ourselves and our staff, and what can we provide for the community?’” Hughes said.
They told us the best plants for beginners, what not to do as a beginner–something I need to take into consideration–the benefits of helping a community garden and more.
“I only played four games, but I think my biggest thing is that I wanted to experience winning a game as a Peacock [with Saint Peter’s]. And, you know, I did.”
Despite the accomplishments, Williams said he tries not to brag too much and acknowledged that his upbringing and current reality are a “blessing.”
“I started to write again and attend different open mics. After I had started to organize my own children events and my own community events. I thought to myself I could create a space where many poets will feel welcomed,” said Mocha Mic With Millie.
“By using soccer as a means to build stronger connections and a stronger community, we strive to create a vibrant and supportive network of players who share our passion for the game,” he told Slice of Culture.
“All the familiar faces, it becomes like more family than customers,” Mendes said. “Just makes it more homey.”
While the project is already underway with a $50 million budget, many people on opposing sides have been chiming in on what the new Liberty State Park should look like and offer.
