“The Idol” is an HBO original, five-episode mini-series written, directed and produced by Sam Levinson (from “Euphoria” fame) and co-produced by Abel Tesfaye, aka The Weeknd.
“The Fallout,” a coming of age drama written and directed by Megan Park that was released on HBO Max in January 2022, follows the fallout from a school shooting.
Despite playing a high schooler once again, Zendaya’s character “Rue” is vastly different from her other characters “Rocky” from “Shake It Up!”, “K.C.” from “K.C. Undercover,” and “MJ” in the MCU’s “Spider-Man” movies.
