Red Bulls Summer Camps Are Already Here. Catch It In These Hudson County Towns
There might have been snow falling outside and wind chills, but it’s not too early to start thinking about summer camp! The New York Red Bulls’ full camp lineup is now open for registration and they have camps available all over New Jersey and New York.
The Hudson County towns include Hoboken and Secaucus.
Whether you’re a first-time player or an advanced youth talent, the Red Bull New York Summer Camps offer a pathway for every age and ability.

Batter Up! Kids Can Play Softball This Winter In West New York!
Registration for West New York’s Division of Recreation’s Winter Softball Clinic is now open. It welcomes all WNY residents ages between the ages of 7 and 18.

Looking For A Men’s Basketball League? Suit Up With West New York
Registration for West New York’s Men’s Basketball League is also now open and it’s free!
The league begins in January 2026 and is open to adults ages 21 and over.

Submit Your Nominations For Hudson County’s Sports Hall Of Fame
Hudson County Craig Guy is calling on all residents to submit their nominations for Hudson County men and women who should be honored for their “dedicated countless hours to perfecting their athletic skills.”
“Our athletes inspire us all. From the fields and courts of Hudson County to the world stage, their dedication brings our communities together,” Guy said in a statement.
“We encourage residents to submit nominations for the Hudson County Sports Hall of Fame by January 31, 2026 for themselves, family members, friends, or coaches and help celebrate the incredible achievements happening right here at home.”

According to the emailed press release: “Nominees must have a minimum of two years of experience in Hudson County during grades 9 through 12 and are asked to provide their title, biography, remarks, headshots, and athletic accomplishments in Hudson County high school, college or university, and any professional experience. One of the following documents is requested for each accomplishment: photocopies of newspaper articles, certificates, yearbooks, annual awards, dinner programs or congratulatory letters.”

Harrison Celebrates Soccer Players Named To County, State And Regional Honors
Harrison Councilman Mike Dolaghan congratulated multiple Harrison High School boys varsity soccer players for their recognitions for their 2025 season, according to a Facebook group post by the Harrison Team.
The recognitions went to:
- Pedro Barreto-Reis, Junior center-midfielder, Group II All-State First-Team
- Pedro Barreto-Reis, Junior center-midfielder, All-Regional All-American
- Kiandry Aban, Junior striker, Group II All-State Third-Team
- Christian Barrios, Senior mid-fielder, All-Hudson County First-Team
- Kiandry Aban, Senior mid-fielder, All-Hudson County First-Team
- Pedro Barreto-Reis, Senior mid-fielder, All-Hudson County First-Team
- Eziquel Soto, Junior striker, All-Hudson County First-Team

The announcement said that HHS hasn’t had four players on the First-Team All-Hudson County since 2002 when HHS went 24-0-1. This season they went 20-4-1.
