New Jersey Native And Former Pro Named As Red Bulls New Head Coach
Michael Bradley was appointed the new Head Coach of the New York Red Bulls on Dec. 15, 2025.
Bradley, of Princeton, grew up in the Red Bulls organization, which drafted him at 16 years old. Bradley said coming home to New Jersey to take the job with the Red Bulls was “a no brainer,” according to northjersey.com.

Bradley will become the second Red Bulls coach to have played for the club and the 20th person to step into the role. Prior to this, Bradley was coaching their reserve team, Red Bulls II and leading them to the MLS Next Pro title.
“Being able to learn from one of the greatest coaches to come out of America, you can’t ask for a better way to transition as a young professional into coaching,” Julian de Guzman, Red Bulls sporting director stated.
