“As a Filipino American artist, personally I feel that Filipino-American heritage and identity kind of gets lost in the creative world. I feel like not many of us are really seen in the mainstream line,” the North Jersey native told Slice of Culture.

“We’re trying to do is basically just give space so people can come and play [in North Jersey].”

“I felt Drew’s rights were violated in so many ways, and standing up against the threat to our civil rights was really the message I had,” said Ervin, a relative of the Jersey City man.

“It was once a fun trend but now after seeing its return because of mental awareness, I think it serves a good purpose than 2014,” said Hudson County resident.
