#MovieReview • “Judas and the Black Messiah” focuses on a pivotal time in American history where the FBI declared Fredrick Allen Hampton, an activist and chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party (played by Daniel Kulayaa) a threat to the country in order to prevent the rise of a Black Messiah.

The film moves with precision and evokes powerful themes where every character and scene serves a purpose and thematically allows the film illustrate its points smoothly.

The film is outstanding thanks to Kulayaa, Shaka King, and twin writers Kenny and Keith Lucas for accurately depicting the Black Panthers.
